Holiday Festival of Lights

The 2012 Holiday Festival of Lights at Rockford's Sinnissippi Park (1401 N. 2nd St.) had record-breaking attendance with over 28,000 cars navigating the trail of dazzling lights and holiday spirit.  Plans are already underway for 2013 - your participation is warmly invited!

This event has become a stateline family tradition since 1989. It began with just 11 displays and has grown to over 50 each year!  Displays can be rented from the Festival of Lights Committee or built and installed by individuals, community organizations or businesses.

Underwriting costs for the displays are:

Build and install your own display - $150 for businesses, $100 for Social clubs, $25 for schools and churches.

Rental of Committee-furnished display - including install and tear down - from $225 to $350, depending on the size. Call for details.

Santa's Helper Sponsorship - $125, includes mention in brochure and website.

Each display in Sinnissippi Park will have a 2' x 4' sign that will read "Display Courtesy of Your Name."  Please click on the "Guidelines and Entry Form" tabs on the left for more information.
