Wednesday, June 29 at 1:30pm - Campfire Tales Performed by Artists Ensemble. Campfire Tales is a series of creative, sometimes spooky, and always silly, tales that will get the whole audience involved in the action. Thursday, June 30 at 7pm - Kinsey Report Band. Gary, Indiana's Kinsey Report delights music fans with their blistering brand of streetsmart, up-to-the-minute, funky blues-rock. Kinsey Report has blazed a modern trail of powerful, original music that grabs both die-hard blues fans and rockers who love supercharged guitar and boneshaking vocals. Monday, July 4...
Magic Waters Independence Day Celebration and Military Appreciation Day from 10am-6pm. Present a military ID on Monday, July 4, and receive one free admission for one person; purchase tickets at the gate. (Holiday admission prices apply on July 4th) Magic Waters - 7820 CherryVale N. Independence Day Spectacular- Ingersoll Golf Course, 101 Daisyfield Rd., Rockford, IL 61102
6pm - Parade reviewing stand, S. Wyman and Elm - Local music legend Carl Cole entertains.
6:50pm - Motorcycle Parade. Hundreds of motorcycles leave 7th St. riding along the parade route.
7pm - 53rd annual Rockford July 4th Parade - Downrown Rockford. See details below.
9:30pm - 53rd annual Rockford July 4th Fireworks Spectacular!
Downtown Rockford. *Premium Viewing Area available at Davis Park. Premium Viewing Area admission is $6 per person, children 4 & under free with paid adult and $1 off admission for veterans. Premium Viewing Area tickets can be purchased at the box office, which is located at the entrance to Davis Park, on the day of the event. It opens at 6p.

Parade participant line up time is 6pm.
Parade will start promptly at 7pm
Parade route forms at 7th Street & 6th Avenue, then proceeds North on 7th Street to East State Street, then proceeds West on State Street to Wyman Street, then proceeds South on Wyman Street and continues South to Chestnut Street. Turn West on Chestnut Street to Winnebago Street where parade ends. All units to disband on Winnebago Street.
Please note - 7th street will be closed to parade traffic at 5:00 p.m. Use 6th Street South (one way) and 9th Street South (one way) to reach your assigned parade division. Stay on 6th or 9th street until the Parade Marshall assigns your position.
